Bose SoundSport Free

  • Great sound
  • Fun colors

There’s no shortage of choices in the realm of real wireless earbuds. Bose was one of the earliest participants in this growing sector and though great products have since hit shelves, the Bose SoundSport Free is still worth a look at.

You’re not getting QuietComfort II levels of audio fidelity here, but the SoundSport Free has the warm bass response that the brand has become famous for. They’re also big, but a good byproduct of their size is that there’s more surface area to display the four cool styles you can buy them in, including Blue, Black, Bright Orange, and Ultraviolet.

Bose is assuring five hours of listening time on one charge, which is just over the 4.5-hour threshold that is necessary for a pleasant experience. You’ll get an additional 10 hours from the case, which isn’t good against today’s competition, but you can get another 45 minutes of usage out of a 15-minute charge, and at least it just takes two hours for a full top-up.

Sennheiser Momentum

  • Bluetooth 5.0 AptX
  • Water resistance
  • Ear-pleasing sound

Classic audio brand Sennheiser was a latecomer to the wireless game, but its Momentum earbuds hit the scene with veteran efficiency. These are the top sounding pair of truly wireless earbuds you can find. Sennheiser never defined the true audio technology and drivers inside the Momentum, but they transmit the tunes over a Bluetooth 5.0 AptX signal.

For the uninitiated, Bluetooth 5.0 AptX has a dependable channel for clear and fast wireless audio that rivals wired headphones. Say ciao to drops, static, audio sync issues, and other things that deal with older tech. As for the sound quality, anticipate warm bass and well-balanced mics with a vast range of volumes. If you don’t like what you hear, the Smart Control app lets you tweak every element to your liking.
